Which dog breeds lose more fur?

Of course, skin problems and other systemic diseases can ocasionate the loss of fur, but not always this loss has to do with something pathologic. Knowing the breeds that have a bigger tendency helps for you to prepare in case you want to acquire any animal with that characteristic. And if you are a tutor of any animal from these breeds below, know that they have a bigger natural tendency of excessive loss of fur , therefore, you don't need to worry if they're losing fur but are healthy and eating properly.

It's important to know that some breed have a default seasonal fur loss, i.e., in one or more parts of the year, the loss can be bigger.

This, for example, is the case of the Bernese. Once a year, these beaultiful companions experience fur loss and it's so intense that many owners get scared and end up looking for a veterinarian, fearing it being some sort of health problem.
